Does anyone have a diagram for the dimmer switch to a 98 Ranger XLT? Trying to ascertain what each pigtail/plugin color does. This dimmer model only has 4 plugs, but five wires; the brown one is a double pigtail. The picture below is of the headlight switch. I'm interested in a similar diagram for the dimmer. Not sure if it exists. This is the diagram for the headlight switch. I'm looking for the dimmer one, which may be similar.
The white/black wire on #3 is if there was a factory anti-theft system(or keyless entry), it would be a brown wire without anti-theft and run directly to dimmer and Park lights(no relay)
If it is white/black then there would be a Park Light Relay in Relay box 1 above gas pedal area, and it powers park lights and dimmer wheel when Park or Headlight switch is on
Park light relay was added so key fob could flash park lights on lock and unlock and so an alarm could flash the lights if so equipped
