I will give short recap of picking up my new 2021 Ranger XL. My wife dropped me off and I sat thru the dealer going thru the Ford 4g Sync set up. Signed the papers said thank you to the helpful salesman. I was really hyped. New truck fresh and ready to go. I called my wife to give her the update on how it was going. ...........I could hear her and she could not hear me........... I shut my phone off and did a reset . That will fix it .......It did not. I called her disconnecting the blue tooth . worked great. I figured easy. Faulty mic. Got home and called the dealer and mentioned the problem. They said never heard of this issue.
I tried a differnt phone calling differnt friends. No luck. I could hear them and they could not hear me. WTF I looked online and found a boat load of my mic issues. I have a sinking feeling about this problem.
I drive 2017 F150 for a service truck no issues with the phone
I owned a 2013 F150 no issues with the phone.
I owned a 2020 Ford Ranger no issues with the phone.
Can anyone give me a reflash fix or do i need to to take my zero mile truck in to have a blue tooth fix. I cant believe that ford worked backwards with the bluetooth . Note my truck has the old style 4" display basic 6 Speaker AM FM stereo with 4G
Does anyone have the fix?

Three visits to the dealer = Zero help They replaced the mic . If this continues I may take this to a factory buy back. The service writer is now shrugging their shoulders. "We tried"
I called Ford and spoke with customer service and got a run around with no answers. They said take it back and tell them to try again. Tell them to call hot line? WTF
So far they have had my truck three days with no loaners available . I am ready to punt this truck and buy a Tacoma
