Tie Rod Gave Up the Ghost
Driving the 2000 ranger down the mountain on Friday evening, lucky and unlucky, about a mile from home, drivers side outer tie rod. Woof. I thought I drove over an invisible couch. Was only going maybe 20 miles an hour at the time. Had an allignment done after lower ball joints and upper control arms replaced about 8 months ago. Kicking myself for not replacing those at the time. My question is, once I get this thing jacked up, aside from the obvious, what else could I have that is damaged after this scenario? What components could need eyes on them. Any advice much appreciated.
