Blinkers don’t work but hazards do

My blinkers stopped working so I replaced the blinker switch on the steering column that didn’t fix it so I then I bought a new relay flasher and that didn’t fix it. I also have brand new bulbs and the pigtails are brand new. I am out of ideas and need help.

1994 and earlier used 2 different flashers(front and back of cab fuse box), 1995 and up used just 1 flasher, it was moved around over the years, but always under the dash somewhere, lol

So YEAR of Ranger is important to include

If you just have the 1 flasher then it does have two fuses
Full time power fuse for Hazards, i.e. they work key on or off
Key on power fuse for turn signals

Again year matters to ID which fuse it would be for turn signals
In 1996 fuse 22 was for turn
In 1999 it was fuse 10

It is an 05 and it only had one relay as far as I can tell. I will check the fuse when I get off work. I appreciate the reply

Fuse 20 in cab fuse box, 10amps, is for the turn signals

Yes, 1995 thru 2011 Rangers just have the one flasher

2004 to 2011 Rangers also have the Smart Junction Box(SJB) in the passenger side kick panel, fuse box is part of SJB
SJB is the Body Computer
It is known to get corroded wires in its 4 big wire connectors, causing odd issues
Like no connection from fuse 20 to flasher

Just to confirm symptom, no lights come on when you move the turn signal, not outside or on the dash?

If so then no power from fuse 20 to flasher, assuming you have swapped/tested fuse 20
Unplug flasher again
Should have 5 wires
Orange/yellow stripe wire should be 12volts from fuse 20, test it with volt meter
If no 12v then you will need to get into SJB and check its connectors, C2280B has fuse 20 wire to flasher

The left blinker light comes on but stays on doesn’t flash. The right blinker doesn’t light up or do anything. I will check what you said tomorrow. I appreciate your advice

Reads like a bad Multi-function switch or a connection on that switch, assuming all 4 corners and both dash lights flash when hazards are on
