Brake Lights Stay on After Replacing Pedal Assembly

Hello all. I recently replaced my clutch/brake pedal assembly by reading a DIY forum on here. Not an easy task. lol. I got everything hooked back up, but now the brake lights won't turn off. I went and bought a new brake light switch, but as soon as I hooked it up the lights came right back on. Is there another sensor/switch/actuator that I am missing? I honestly don't know how this switch even knows when the brake is depressed. Seems to just ride along with it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Figured it out! I had the switch rotated incorrectly. FYI the switch can connect to the pedal many different ways, but only one is correct.
