03 Ranger starts, idles rough
Hey
So I have a weird problem that kind of came out of nowhere. This happened after a night when the temp was in the upper teens and the dew points was in the single digits.
When I start my truck, it idles rough, revs up at random, and then like it wants to put out and die. The break peddle is also stiff and hard to press. Like it's not releasing after I start my truck.
I was able to drive it around the block once, but it's a safety hazard and i'm not going to anymore until I get this fixed.
The check engine light is also on, but I can't drive it to my local auto parts store to get it tested. I have a friend that's going to loan me a OBD2 meter, but wanted to get your thoughts first.
I googled the problem and I read it can be anything from the Spark plugs, to the IAC censor, to the break booster or master cylinder.
