I have a 4.0 out of a 93 ranger wanting to install it in a 89 ranger just wondering on the electrical my ranger is a build date of 12/89 thanks for any help

If 1989 was a 2.9l then should be easier swap, same block was used for 2.9l and 4.0l engines so same motor mounts and transmission bell housings

You will need the 1993 4.0l computer and its wiring harness
