Curious

Has anyone here heard of a ranger with a high ride package? My reason for asking is because when I bought my current ranger a few weeks ago I noticed it had 16inch Ford wheels on it and I’m pretty sure that wasn’t an option in 93, so I checked the tire specs on the door frame and it says 265/75r15 factory size. I’ve been looking at a leveling kit and shocks for it and on a few sites I’ve seen high ride option mentioned… I’m also thinking about swapping my 295/75r16’s from my 98 4runner to the ranger

And why is everyone on here doing body lifts

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum

Body lifts are easier if you just want larger tire clearance
Suspensions lifts on the front are harder and cost more
4x4 Rangers were 1.5" higher than 2WD so did use larger diameter tires

Tire diameter is what matters not rim/wheel size

265/75r15 tire has a diameter of 30" so you probably have a 1993 4x4, 30" is about max without some kind of lift, 2WD Rangers usually had 28" max diameter

295/75r16 tire has a diameter of 33.4" so wouldn't fit on a Ranger unless it was lifted
