1986 Two Wheel Drive Front left spindle

Hello all,

Well, years back, my front driver's bearing nut had an issue. Got a new nut, but found that I had to work the threads. For the last couple of years, I've had an issue with the bearing nut coming loose, and it's caused all kinds of hell as you can imagine. As I need the truck for a job run, I had to make a repair with a new nut, and it wouldn't go on straight. So I said *7$% it and stipped it on, don't know yet if it'll stay as tight as it went on, but I wanted to ask about the difficulty of repairing or replacing this front left spindle on my own. Any tips would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance as always.

Tony

Its really is not that difficult to do. I would not drive it like that. Could cause an accident and hurt someone and yourself.

Thanks. It's parked. I just gotta fix it. I've never done this job; the coil spring looks like a bear to do by oneself. If anyone has a lead on where to get a NEW unit, I'd appreciate it very much.
