Mission: Route a rear camera control wire from the top center rear of a Snugtop, thru the Left rear brake wining route, up to the cab.
Ok, so I have the wiring loom for the rear brake lights located, routed out of LR brake light, to rear lisc plate, then fwd above the spare tire, and up to an entrance fitting just aft of the transmission, about 1.5 ft aft of manual shifter hole.
Here is my question: Its a 98, with OLD carpeting, I want to locate that fitting on the interior without destroying the carpet. how?
Some wiring DOES seem to go up thru the shifter hole, but not the pertinent set, the one that comes from the rear. Tell me I don't have to remove the driver seat,... tell me there is an easier access point into the cab w/out dropping the Transmission, to get this camera wire in,...Helfen mir bitte,...
