Trying to get a rebuilt engine in a 2005 Ranger Edge 3.0L 2wd (Torsion Bar), with Manual Trans.

Can't Source the Left or Right motor mounts from the dealer.

Left 5L5Z-6038-AA

Right 5L5Z-6038-AB

Can you guys suggest any aftermarket brand, I've had no luck finding anything for this Year/EDGE trim model.

Hate to put a rebuilt Engine on 19 year old motor mounts!

Yes, that is odd, 3.0l Ranger motor mounts are everywhere but say "Not Edge", never knew that

Any place that lists them says "back ordered" or "Discontinued"

Ranger Frames are the same 1983 thru 2011 as far as width in engine bay, maybe they are a bit taller because of Edge torsion bars
But nothing a few washers couldn't cure

May have to stick with what you have

Is it even reasonable to use 19 year old motor mounts, don't they deteriorate over time?

The current motor mounts have no apparent issue...knock on wood.

 

More likely to deteriorate in hot dry climates, So. Cal. and Arizona come to mind, hot humid not so much i.e. Georgia

 

Green Sales Company shows they have the left in stock. Give them a call, I've bought a few parts from them and they've been fair.
