Head gasket cutout confusion
Head gasket cutout confusion
Hey guys,
I'm changing the head gasket on my 03 mazda b3000 and I see that on the back of the gasket, the cutout for one of the oval shaped holes is missing. My dumbass didnt take a picture of the old gasket so I'm not sure if it had the cutout before. I read on some other threads that it varies between the models, 2wd or 4x4. I have a Mazda b3000 2003 with the 3.0 Flex Fuel v6 RWD. I'm seeing that most gaskets seem to not have this cutout, would anyone happen to know how it should be? I've attached some pictures of what I'm seeing. I just want to make sure before I torque the heads down.
Thank you.
