Coolant Leaking From Bolt By Crank Sensor

01 B3000 160k I have coolant leaking from a bolt on the front bottom passenger side up above the oil pan. really it looks like a long stud with a nut on it. anybody know what this does? I'll keep looking around to see what it does? could it be a drain plug to drain the block?

Timing cover leak. Very common on the 3.0 V6 This 2000 MY engine has 18mm bolts at the location you're talking about but my 99 MY engine has large head bolts with a stud on the end (like the smaller bolt at the top of the picture).

thanks I found it. it was a brass connecter that is attached to the intake manifold close to the thermostat. it had a pin hole in it and you couldnt see the drip. if you were under the truck running I think the fan would blow the coolant across the front of the motor. then it just worked it self to odd places and made it look like leaks. theres more to the story be I got it stopped... thanks
