Leaking coolant like crazy on the back corner of engine
My 2002 ford Ranger 4.0l is my daily driver. But recently it has almost become undriveable because it is leaking way too much coolant. 15mins of driving and half my coolant is gone. I tried seeing where the leak was coming from. Are there any videos or diagrams of the engine so that I can see what is behind there?
it appears to be coming from the back corner(drivers side) of engine from the case where there’s a bolt in the case.
The oil seems fine. Not leaking and no coolant in it
Leaks coolant only when engine is hot

Best to get your Coolant leak fixed before burning up the engine!
Yep, there's a PCVWarmingLoop using 5/16"ID Coolant Hoses;
runs thru an "OxBow" around the PCVValve on the rear of LeftValveCover;
runs from a PlasticTee (JunkPlastic notorious for Cracking+Leaking) in one of the 5/8"HeaterHoses on RightFireWall,
thru the PCVValve OxBow,
thru a SmallHeatExchanger were PCVVacHoses connect to RightSide of IntakeManifoldThroat,
then to a SteelTee in the other 5/8"HeaterHose bolted to RightSide of Engine.
This smaller 5/16"ID PCVWarmingLoop operates in parallel with the larger 5/8"ID HeaterCoolantLoop;
PCVWarmingLoop is a "RubeGoldbergInvention", does NOT really work; a useless source of Coolant leaks.
The JunkPlastic 5/8"HeaterConbtrol BallValve is also a notorious leaker; 2way version can be replaced with a traditional MetalPlugValve.
Deleted PCVWarmingLoop several years ago, along with the associated PCVValveOxBow+PlasticTee+SteelTee,
when I installed all new CoolantHoses; no issues since in either severe winter\summer driving.
Could also have a leak from the notorious JunkPlastic ThermoStatHousing;
leaking back into the EngineV & overflowing back onto TransBellHousing, finally dripping to the ground.
With a Flash\WorkLight inspect under ThrottleBody at ThermoStatHousing,
look for a SmellyCoolantSwamp in EngineV & signs of coolant leaks around the Housing.
Best to replace JunkPlasticThermoStatHousing with an Aluminum version.

Thanks for all the photos. I don't know what I did, but I ended up posting a response somewhere else in this forum. Problem may have been a loose hose clamp. Keeping a watch on it. The former owner would have taken it to a garage and the hose clamp wasn't even tightened. I'm guessing he paid $150? Fortunately I found it before it was catastrophic.
