Coolant leak?
My 2002 ford ranger leaks coolant from somewhere because I can see wet spots under my truck after I leave somewhere but I looked into the radiator and there's still green coolant in it and it's been using it so fast I've started putting water in the reservoir so could it be that it's just dumping out the water in the reservoir because if I don't fill it up after a few days it will be bone dry (and I know it's water because I can see it dripping from the frame?)since there's still green coolant in the radiator and it feels abnormally hot compared to other cars but the guage never shows it overheating and it drips on the passenger side of the engine also it takes a long time like an hour or more for the gauge to go from the halfway point (normal) to anywhere near cold

Check your water pump. I just recently replaced mine. It could be leaking from the weep holes. Here's a link to what I'm talking about.

If overflow tank level is going down then you have a leak.
Rad will always be full if there is coolant in the overflow, it sucks it out of overflow tank to replace any leaked coolant, that's the system design, it is doing what it is suppose to do.
Passenger side of engine is most likely a heater hose connection.
They can get pinholes and coolant sprays out in a very small stream.
If you have air conditioning then there will always be water dripping on the ground on the passenger side but nearer the firewall than engine, but certainly by the frame under the firewall
It is normal for engine to take awhile to cool off.

Hey thanks guys but I just noticed that there is some coolant sitting in the middle of the block like where the fuel rails meet the engine could this be from where the engine got overheated and blew out some coolant or maybe I have a blown head gasket and I'm definitely gonna Check the weep holes and Heater hoses tomorrow
