Me head bolts are to long!

Replacing head gasket on a 2000 4wd. the head bolts that came seem to be an inch to long, but they are the same length as the ones that came out. I am so confused. it has the connical valve springs, and the threads are recessed. is there a spacer I am missing?

First thing that came to my mind was there is oil in the bolt holes.

Thought of that, figured it out. the block is not oroginal to the truck. It was swapped at some point. F6DE casting. Its a pre 99 block. New head bolts on order. Thanks for all your time!

No, the block I am working on came from another donor truck, I tosed the bolts for this block when I tore it down, was using the bolts from the other block, which is a 2000
