Passenger window 1/2 way down when harness unplugged

Let me try to explain. I have electric windows. The driver door was replaced with a manual door because of a accident. So the passenger window was up then driver door removed and harness unplugged running from under dash from where passenger window and door connect to driver window and door. Ok unplug harness and truck is off but after when you turn key on that passenger window goes half way down own its own and stops. It will not stay up. Even got the old door with harness hooked it up it goes up then unhook it turn on key its back 1/2 way down. Im in the process of locating another electric door . Any info on this

You're obviously NOT disconnecting the harness from the window motor. It can't possibly run if it's physically disconnected. You're disconnecting 'something', I'm sure. But it sure isn't the window motor!
