98 Ranger XL
3.0L, 5 speed manual transmission
I put all of truck back together and now trouble shooting no crank no start. Please see attached picture for the 6 pin connector to my clutch rod's neutral safety switch.
I wish to know which two wires to jumper together to see if its my neutral safety switch is bad
I have bench tested starter. good
I have checked continuity between + battery terminal to hot post on starter. good
i have checked continuity between - battery terminal to black battery terminal. good
I swapped out starter relay with a known good one (from 2000 Mustang we own, same exact p/n) good
I checked fuse 24 in the cab's fuse box (CPP circuit, neutral safety). good
Battery has 12.9 VDC
Megafuse (175 Amp) was checked with multimeter 0.00 ohm
EDIT: I have searched in the forums and found where people say they jumped the switch but didn't explain which wires. When google searching, I found a switch diagram just like the 6 pin that I have picture of but it was for an F-350 diesel. That one had only 4 wires vs the 5 wires i see on the 98 3.0 V6. thanks for your help.

Reason: grammar
I found this when checking the ignition switch out. My problem was a kill switch was blocking the starting circuit. Prior to this, i found pins 5 and 6 on clutch safety switch would go to zero resistance when spring was compressed all the way.
I put the ignition switch back in and reconnected. I tried to crank after pushing the snowflake button, no crank. I then pushed the blank button and retried the key and BAM it cranked and started.
