2002 Ranger Fuel Filter Clips Broken
2002 Ranger Fuel Filter Clips Broken
Hey yall, I'm new to this forum and looking for some help. While trying to replace my fuel filter on my ranger, I broke the plastic clips on the fuel line from the gas tank. Which was the last thing I was trying to do (why are they engineered SO FRAGILE). The green little plastic clip is completely exposed on half of it. I still couldn't get it off and never get it off.
1. How do you actually take these off. I have that little circle plier tool. First I squeezed and pulled out. Then I learned you have to push in and pull out. So I squeezed, pushed in, and pulled out, and it broke.
2. Since it never came off, is it save to drive? I have to go to the junkyard tomorrow for a bumper anyways.
3. Do i have to get the whole line? Or can I just buy the clips and repair it somehow?
thank yall
