BIG Fuel Filter PROBLEM with Pictures!!! HELP HELP
Ok today I decided to change a fuel filter on a relatives trucks that he just bought. I bought the special ring tools from Autozone for the fuel filter. I stuck the special tool on the front fuel line and took out the line and put on the new filter. SO no problem right? WRONG! Earlier I used a vice grip on the rear fuel line metal connector which caused damaged to the clips (infamous ring with retainers.) Well when I went to take out the rear fuel line I happened to break the back end of fuel filter and used long nose pliers to get the remaining fuel filter from the fuel line. The clips came out and the o-rings with the pliers. The clips are damaged. I have posted some pictures below.
Now my questions are:
can I buy the clips separately and where if so?
I plan to put the o-rings first then the clips, does this sound dumb?
WTF have I put myself into?
GOD HELP ME!!!
Thank you guys. I really appreciate it.

those clips are probably going to be a dealer item, and if not I hope you can find a similar truck at the junk yard and manage to get the other ones off without the same results. I'm not sure how well its going to seal, those lines look very bent. I would probably look into replacing that section of the line and get everything new that you can. Sounds very complicated and hard, but you dont want a leaking fuel line...
Thats just my input, I'm sure someone else should be able to help you out maybe a little more..
