BIg Problem taking off the oil filter.

I've got a 2010 4.0 and tried to change the oil for the first time today. The filter was on there tight, so I had to use screw drivers and various other things to loosen it up. It's finally broken loose, but it only turns a little bit. After some examination, it looks like the motor mount is pushed into the filter. Is the filter supposed to be straight up and down or does it angle toward the front of the truck a little? Any advice?

idk about yours but on mine if i put enough force on it i can actually change the angle of the housing that the filter attaches to. try and give it a good amount of force to try and move it away from the mount. i had a very similar issue.
