Which Muffler?

Right now i have the flowmaster 40 series si/do setup with the pipes coming out of the sides just behind the rear wheel. It used to be louder when they both came out the bumper but when i got them turned and out the sides its quieter. How come? Anyways, if i got the magnafow si/do muffler to replace the flowmaster will it make a difference in sound? I also have heard that the magnaflow makes more power than the flowmaster? Should i stick with what i have now or go for the magnaflow?

My flow 40 si/do is loud and sounds bad a$$. It exits before the rear tire though.

Vote one for borla! fairly loud and sounds mean too! Dunno what they sound like without headers or intake though.
