installing bodylift ?'s

installing bodylift ?'s

i was reading the instructions to install the body lift, and my question was do you have to weld the crush blocks to the frame?

it said to in the isnstrutions but i want to make sure cause my dad is out of rod.

I never even put those crush blocks in. Its not necessary to weld them. They fit very tightly in.

I have had 0 problems yet...and you saw how I beat the truck...

I haven't put my crush blocks in either. I never really haul anything except for my quad, and I have never had any problems.

I do not have them in mine either, I know some people have used a silicone sealer to hold them in.

ok cool, then i am not going to put them in. i was gonna install the kit tomarrow but i am gonna wait and do both lifts at the same time

The only reason you would wanna install them is if you are going to haul heavy loads in your bed. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

yea i dont have them in mine either.

we welded Marks to his frame but its not needed.

If you weld them in good luck getting them out that is why mine are not welded.

^^^ umm you take off the box? and cut the welds ^^^^^^ thats was easy haha..JUST DONT WELD THEM TO YOUR BOX bad idea lol i dont have mine installed either and i carry stuff all the time no problems yet..

never pu mine in either. ive had my body lift for two years now, and have hauled some heavy loads. no probs still.
