2007 FX4 LVL II Mods

I have a 2007 FX4 LVL II and the mods I made were installing K&N Air Induction Kit and Superchips Program #1815. Its working pretty well. I am thinking of adding a Cat Back Sysytem ( Single Side). Has anyone done these mods to their Ranger and did it work well for you?

You just named like 90% of the trucks on this forum. That being said, it works.

I put a Gibson cat-back on my old 01 4x4 and loved it! Single 2.5 with the K&N kit, lower pulley and Pro-M MAF made the 3.slo feel almost like a 4.0!

add on mods

As you will read, have made many mods over time. Every time i need to go back to stock setting on tuner, always feels like brake is on.

Yup. I have a Borla SI/DO exhaust set up with a MAC Intake and a SCT tuner. Love it.

Is there a thread y'all can point me to that is nothing but what mods you all are doing? Trying to keep it simple, but I’m also super new to the pickup world.

I have to go back to the stock tune when I go in for smog check. I can't wait to get my performance tune back on again. The stock tune does have less performance, but I mostly don't like the rpm hang when shifting gears and there is very little engine compression braking with the stock tune. With the performance tune, when I let up on the accelerator, it slows quickly and I don't need to use the brakes a lot.
