Best Performance Exhaust set up?

So right now I have a flowmaster super 40 dumped. I decided I want to upgrade to an exhaust system that will help give me more pwer and better mpg vs. a loud sound. What is the best set up(muffler, pipe size, ect..) in order to increase mpg and horsepower the most?

I run a Gibson cat-back. It is pretty quiet until you hit about 3,000 rpm's or higher. I like it, no drone on the highway sounds just right.

If you want a good "performance" muffler, go with a Magnaflow, Borla, basically any straight through design muffler is going to perform better than a chambered muffler.

I've got the Gibson Extreme Dual exhaust and I really like it. There's no drone to it at all and it really has a nice growl to it when you get on the gas. I noticed a 2-3mpg increase as well as a decent gain in the low rpm's.

Single - 2.5"

Dual - 2.25"

I would go single lightning style or dumped after the axle.
