well youd have to get a new tranny in the first place. then youd have to find somebody that would be able to do all the work necessary.

i say look around, find some prices then come back. i think youll be much happier with a manual, especially if you do offroading. i know i am.

kinda off topic, but why dont you make a signature and list some things about your truck. that would help us a little more.

There is allready a hole in the floor. Every Ranger from the dawn of time has them Auto or Manual doesnt matter.

Computer would just need to be A: Reprogramed B: Replaced by one from a vehicle with the same specs as your new one.

id get ur trans rebuilt. swapping to a manny tranny plus purchase price would be the same if not more than rebuild ur trans. dont forget u need to run a clutch assemly, add a master cylinder and take care of the ECU.

Altoona, eh...whats up fellow PA'r =-D
