I have a 2000 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 3' body lift. I am putting a 01-03 bumper and valance on it and I already have an 06 tailgate for it. Now I am trying to figure out what grille and headlight combo I want to use, and I need some ideas.

I have no pictures of truck with bumper or valance painted and installed with light bar due to the fact that its not done getting painted yet. As of right now i am planning on putting old grille and headlights on. but I feel like changing those also just not sure to what yet??

 

I'm doing that same conversion,,, I have the edge powerdome hood, I bought the 01-03 argent bar grille, but it doesn't line up with the hood quite right, so I'm getting the mesh grille. As for a bumper, I'm thinking about getting just the 01-03 bumper, and building a tube bumper/ light bar with skid plate to cover the rest. After I bought the header panel, headlights, clear corners and hood, I ran out of money.

also, The grille I bought was brand spankin new when I bought it 2 weeks ago, and if you want to go that route, I need to get rid of it, let me know if you'd want it, Thanks!

 

i was thinking of the powerdome also. I ran out of money to, but my ranger isn't my daily driver so i don't need it back together anytime soon. my truck is about to have a makeover. all 4 doors are getting reskinned and repainted, rear and front bumper and vallance are getting repainted the roof is getting repainted, the bed is getting rhino lineed and im getting the truck undercoated. so i have time to wait and build up more money.

I want to have a set-up like 04blackedge has, his truck looks awesome but I'm not sure what headlights to use if I go that route, Im not sure if the black headlights will look good or if I'll have to use a clear turn and headlight combo.

 

Man that is nice to hear stuff like that lol. If you have black rims or are getting black rims defn go with the black headlights to tie it all together. I personally think white trucks with black steelies and chrome center caps looks amazing, but thats just me.

 

If I had the money I would, I plan to get black aluminum rims sometime in the future. my Roll bar is black, my front light bar and my trailer hitch is also, so I have black accents on my truck. my lights are all chrome housings tho. so i'm trying to decide which way to go, a black mesh grille, or a chrome grille, clear or black headlights. just to many ideas floating around

I hate that, so many different choices. Once you get everything on post up some pics, do many different options for me to think tonight lol

 

I'm asking $60 + shipping. It's all bare plastic, no paint, no emblem. I just pulled it out of the box and clipped it on.

the white grille needs to be chrome. the huge blue oval ford on the tailgate has got to go. and your bumper should be a combo white/chrome.

 

I actualy don't want that much chrome on my truck. I like all one color. the only thing thats gonna be chrome on my truck are the KC's, and the ford badges. I like a nice clean nuetral look to it. I might go with the chrome grille but i gotta play around with photoshop after I get my truck put back together.
