Would you buy this?

http://www.gibbstech.co.uk/mediacentre/quadski.php

I need your opinions on this "quadski". There is no correct answer. I just want to know what you guys think.

Would you buy it? If so/not please post why.

Regards,
Rich

I wouldn't, simply because it seems to me to be too much of a compromise. Not as capable on land as a quad, and not as capable in water as a jet ski. That, and I'm too poor.

I'd say only if you lived on the beach somewhere and it was legal to play around on (on-land and in the water since some places have restrictions)

I would buy it if I lived at Pismo Beach. Ride around on the dunes and then just launch into the sea.

I wouldn't because of the compromises and you have to be very careful not to damage the hull while offroading.

If you could make it street legal, yes. So I could drive across the river that makes my trip take 10x as long to get to the beach. Then drive to my friends on the beach and still be able to go out into the water. Dreams

Even if I could afford it. I wouldn't buy it. It's useless.

it is an awsome idea i love it wish i though of it i can see beach patrol rockin these up and down the coast. however for deep woods off roading i think its useless if you damage the hull like some one said then its useless in the water, id say this would be grate for the beach only for medical response or whatever.

if i had to choose from the 3 vehicles they make i would go with the hummer looking thing, only cause it goes over 100mph on land and seats 5 people then you can drive it into the water, plus it looks bad ***.. looks like somthing the army should use, put some more armor and guns on it and you got your selfe an aquatic humvee.

as far as for the car.. id say its useless all around just somthing for rich people to buy and brag about, i can see that thing getting stuck on the beach before it even hits the water lol

i wouldnt get it because i have no use for it. I dont go to the lake and I dont have access to trails.

Just a quad would suit me better.

It's interesting to say the least. If I lived on or near a beach type area, I would definitely take it for a spin to see if it was worth it. It'd be really fun to take island hopping or something like that.

Where I'm at though... flat out no. Zero need for me. Jetskis are only useful 4 months out of the year and I'd rather use my truck for wheeling then a quad.

I think it would be awesome to have for a lake house or something. Where I live I have no use for it though.
