brakes locked up when trying to reverse
So it rained good yesterday, and everytime I was braking there was a little clunk noise from the front end.. then it started making a little grind when coming to a stop.
So I get off work, and I reverse out of the parking lot, and it won't move! I had to apply the gas pretty hard to get it out far enough while its bucking. still makes a weird grind braking at a stop and the little clunk when brake is first applied.
I know it always stopped abruptly when it rains and I've read this is the rear drums rust? ...
so what is causing it completely be locked when reversing/that noise when I just hit the brake? I just replaced the rotors/hubs and had some problems with a clunk still..but man I have $250 to my name..but am about to brAke down and take it in but even then $$$

Wet drum brakes of any kind have a habit of getting stuck due to rust and dust. Our fire department tanker does it all the time if the brakes were wet when you set the parking brake. I've seen little trucks with rear drums do it too.
