Is this the same??

I have an 02' and a friend had an 04'.. He has the K & N Cold Air Intake FIPK...

I know our motors would both be sohc... he had a 4.0 too... My question is will this intake work for my truck even it was on an 04'? The only reason I'm asking is because he was unsure..

Here's the intake

Thanks..

Something changed in 04, I think it was the MAF. I'm 90% it won't work on his truck.

I was told that IAT was taken at the maf on the 04 too. So there is more going on on the 04 MAF sensor besides metering the incoming air.

So I dont think it can be fabbed up to work. Rather I wouldnt mess with it on my 04.
