I found a good Christmas gift for Grant, my little brother. He's in process of build a Edge wannabe XL to be lowered and all that.....anyway. That interior piece that covers the gauge cluster, which contains headlite switch, dash dimmer, air vent, you know what I'm talking about. Will one for an '04 fit a '01???

If what your talking about is what I think it is, then yeah it'll be the same. The gauges are different, so that's a no go, but the part of the dash that covers that area should be the same.

Its a different color of gray in 04.. but otherwise they should be identical as far back as 95.. which begs the question of why you'd buy him one.

 

No.....i'm buying him a carbon fiber dash kit for(the seller says) is for a '04.

The CF dash kits I've seen also include an overlay for the radio bezel. If you're going to use a radio bezel overlay, be careful to check which switches are on the bezel. Ford makes a few different bezels for 4WD, 2WD, with and without foglamps. You need to match the cutouts in the overlay kit to the bezel.
