My exhaust as of now is a flowmaster 40 dumped right over my axle, and i was wondering if i finish it out the back if it would make it sound any different??

 

it'll be quieter in the cab, louder outside, and you'll likely see a little better mpg numbers. IMO...tailpipe sounds better than dumped.

 

IMO its quieter when its piped out. at least thats how its been with my truck.


its a bit deeper and throatier when dumped as well.

i have a magnaflow straight through muff dumped a foot or two before the axle. it sounds great
