Im thinkin about getting a bed tent for my 99 shortbed flareside ex-cab Ranger but wanted to hear from anybody that has one already. My bed is tiny as it is and I didnt know if these things were a waist.

I emailed the company that makes that Explorer Flip-pack to see if they made one to fit my bed but havent heard anything back yet. At the very least I would like to have a bed tent for when I spend the weekend at the dragstrip since there is no shade and for when I take the B2 out wheelin.

Do they keep the weather out decent? Are they made well? Have any pix of one in a Ranger?

 

I have one for my f-150 with the 5.5' foot bed and I love it. Mine goes over the tailgate and gives me more than enough room to lay out and I'm 5'11". I have a air mattress made for the bed too so its great. It rained everyday we were there and I never had any water come in the bed.
