When removing a steering wheel...
always always leave the center bolt threaded in a few turns. got a new steering wheel and was removing my old one (ive removed and installed hundreds if wheels, this int a new thing to me) and it wouldnt come off so i put both hands behind it and kind of hit it, it came flying off and i punched myself in the nose with it, now my face is swollen and hurts and i broke the tang off of my BRAND NEW clockspring that holds the horn wire into it...
i dun removed the air bag dawg, but if it went off in my face, it would have completed the day of this happening and breaking the new a-pillar molding my gf got at the JY for her jeep while installing it. thats the second one ive broke. ever installed a cherokee a pillar without disassembling the dash?
poor poor justie. At least you didn't need stitches.
*side question/serious question: You wern't using a 2 jaw puller? That's what I used when I had to remove mine to replace that damn cruise ribbin tiny wiring crap that I ripped apart on accident. Just a big yank?
