I'm not a beer fan, but that is a way better idea than the copper fitting. I actually really like the beer thingys. I'd use the red one.

Hey Ryan, you're right this is not in the Ranger, but the Ramcharger is still down. So, this is in my Ram....which is actually the only truck I have that is manual. Arizona is awesome dude, I am enjoying 80 degrees and sunny.

I think that cooper elbow would suck in the Arizona summer. Jump in the truck when it's 110 out side, inside the truck probably 150, and grap the copper elbow, I think it'll be a little warm to the touch.

Hell yeah!! I like the way you think.

I like the Sam Adams much better and I would have used the Killians but the threads are too shallow and I didn't want to drill it out. I didn't think about the summer, but you're right it will probably be too hot. And this was not done as a joke. I was at Lowe's buying a GFI circuit and I was just looking around for ideas. I thought a 90 degree elbow would be cool, and I love raw copper.

I want to thank everyone for the insults and suggestions. Haha!

Holy cow... maybe it's cause it's late, BUT I had a FANTASTIC shifter idea

Shotgun or rifle!

Here's how you'd do it. End of the barrel faces down and connects to the tranny, the stock and trigger face up and you use the trigger as a lock for reverse! BRILLIANT!

I think that if you would have taken a copper sheet the same thickness as the center part that fell out, cut a circle out of it and glued it in, this would look much better.

If my truck was a manual I would definitely do that!
