it was a welding technique. because of the differences in metal I think. His Dad welded it again using a different method and it has held so far.

shock set up is stock mounts front and rear with some i think 10 or 11 in pro craps up front and some og ranchos 8in from the 80s in the rear
and what the plan is is run some tall trail-gear shock hoops and 14 in blistiens 5150s up front and some 12 in inverted blistiens 5100s in the rear
basically like the rear on my buddys

Nice nice. What does inverting the shock do for performance?

give me a **** load of axle wrap but i already planned ahead i got a sneaky anti wrap bar set up that im gonna do
but with the way the shock are inverted i can run a shorter shock and get the desired amount of travel i want out of it

Shorter shock also = less $!
