I have been working on my 2008 FX4. Today I made the tough decision in regards to tires. I have gained 3 inch up front with PRO COMP and TT....In the Rear I have added 2 1/2 inches with Super Springs leaf. After a month of looking...I decided on the KM2...........I went with 265/75/16. I was considering the 285 on new wheels...but I am glad I went with the 265. I still have some room for truck to flex a bit if I need it. Well...here ya go...next up......exhaust....What should I go with????

Flowmaster 40 series for the win. My truck is loud, deep, sounds like a V8. did my headers too.

I tell you guys......What a huge change from factory ride..... I am really happy at the proportions with 265 and the height that I got with my keys and leaf. I did a mild TT...I have plenty of room left on my threads if I want to TT more. Now...I am thinking Flow Master as Mr.Mortal stated......headers????? Your thoughts????? Can I put them in????

 

I find too that tbar crank, 31's and a small lift in the rear make these trucks. The only bad thing is the ride with cranked bars can be harsh.

 

i have a full ss cat back from dynomax on my 08 fx4. love it not to loud sounded better than the maganaflow i had on it. ill get you a video if you want

 

Vid would be great..... Did you dump the pipe or run it all the way back? I think I want to keep it short and dump it under the truck....your thoughts?
