Thanks for the pic Mike. A buddy of mine has his diagonal like that. Gave me the idea. I just need to see what they can with it after I get the hitch put back on. Might stop by there Monday after I get the tires on.

He's not sitting too clean out there now.... and I too can't wait to see the new tires. I should have my hitch done this week and installed hopefully next weekend...that means...I can finally get my dang exhaust redone! WOOT!!

okay thanks shane. yeah I have aftermarket exaust so if/when I do this I'll just run it down to the muffler shop and have them tuck it up.

 

Shane you should run it all the way out the back and put some tips on it. Would look damn sexy on your truck.

 

No room to to make it look good.....lift shackles + bodylift = exposed shackles. Raised hitch = hitchreally close to shackles. No where to make it look good. It's the setup i've wanted to do for years really. I'm quite happy with it. Plus, If I go back to stock or scrap the project, I don't have to do anything to the exhaust.

Steering shaft and extention and all that get fixed up? Straight steering wheel now?

 

Can't you tell I'm excited! HELL YEAH!!

And yeah, 15 minute job yesterday. New shaft and extension hooked right up, wheel is straight again, and now back to driving normal. That was some pretty whacked crap but I'm glad the worst is finally over. Can't wait to get the new shoes on and with all this rain, they might not come home clean!
