I had some fun puddle hunting on the dirt road down the street from me.







Yeah I got pulled over for reckless driving and going off the road. The dude hugely over exsadurated what I was doing. Almost lost my license for two years with $2000 in fines. I was stoked when he let me off.

 

Glad ya got off, that would suck to loose your license for that.

 

Yeah I was doing no more then 30 on the road and I went to the other side twice...I could have done MUCH worse on a dirt road. Guy was a jerk, but eh was nice enough to let me go :) So I waved at him when he drove past my house.

 

man that does suck!! that's why i never play around on the road anymore..

 

seems like you cant have any fun anywhere anymore!

There is no such thing as cops who give breaks

 

When I do play out there I always look for cops, but I guess I got spotted by a chopper in the sky because I never once saw his big o ford expedition.

 

Haha yeah well he didn't give my blood pressure a break, that's for sure!

 

He was probably just threatening the reckless driving ticket to scare you away from doing whatever you were doing. Plus, a reckless driving ticket is hard for officers to give because of the things they have to prove in their report/testimony if it is fought.

 

I know, right! And it's not like my little two wheel drive truck and go very far. Oh and when he stopped me I was already pulled over. Was going to get some sweet flex pictures too...

 

Well that is nice to know. Yeah I'm not sure if I'll be out there doing that much again...Man it's hard to find good puddles/mud around here...

 

Ahahaha that would be funny him rolling up on you as your taking pictures. I dont know why I feel weird pulling over on the road and taking pictures. I try to do it quick and when no one is around ahaha.

 

Haha! Yeah I feel weird doing it to. No one else was around me for three miles so I figured why not. Then he pulled up right as I was about to buck up...

He was driving recklessly in front of a cop. The cop gave him a warning instead of a $2,000 fine. And the cop is a jerk?

 

I went right off the side of the road twice to drive through some big puddles and twice while driving down the road I went to the left side to hit some small amounts of mud.

But plans for the truck? To push it as far as this little 2.5 stocker will go. Till I buy it from my grandparents this winter. Then I'll lay some money into. No real plans yet because I don't want to get to over hyped for it before I buy my new DD.

 

The cop was no where to be seen. I believe a police helicopter called it in. Because I was pulled off the side of the road for like 10 minutes before I even hit the dirt road. I was hitting a big mud puddle. He didn't get to me till 3-4 miles down the road. Plus I never broke 35... Oh after hitting the dirt road about 2 miles in I pulled right off the road for one more puddle.

 

He was no where to be seen... but apparently he seen you!

Why is he a "dick head"? It sounds as though he was pretty relaxed about the whole ordeal based on what he could have done...

 

a ******** that lets him go? the cop probably over exaggerated what he was doing as a scare tactic since he knew he was going to let him go, give him a scare so that he wont do it again and end up getting a leo with no discretion if he gets caught again

 

Guy wasn't a dick imo. The guy let him off with a slap on the wrist. There any houses near this? People could have called in, officer lives by, etc? Most people don't approve of playing just off the road and screwing around. Just takes one person to call in, and a hair of bad luck.

We were out last weekend on some trails and ended up in a recreational park (lake mead). We were kinda screwed because we ended up behind a locked gate, so we tried to go around and get on the road...park ranger was right there. (crap). He checked us out, told us to go back where we came from. Fair enough for me!

 

ClubFoot was doing something WRONG and the cop was doing HIS JOB. And the cop is a "dick head."
Would you please explain to me by what thought process you came to that conclusion?
