Being single has its benefits!
I've caught the Level II addiction and have been throwing a few mods on the truck.
Level II tow hooks (The good ones) repainted and drying.
Tow hooks installed
Just this weekend I converted my gauge cluster to a Level II cluster.
The lens isn't really that scratched up its just the flash made it look terrible. I actually polished it for half an hour before reinstalling it.
Then just because I felt having one Level 2 twin stick setup wasn't enough I decided to pick up another setup for cheap. Here it is
And one under glass just because its a benefit of having a bachelor pad.

My local Walmart doesn't carry that exact color Terry. I'm going to check Wichita when I go there if not I may have to have you grab me a can of the stuff. All my local store has is Aluminum Metallic.

LOL yeah my friends love the display case, I mean china cabinet.
The needles came that way straight off the Level II cluster. It sucks because I just wanted to swap odometer between the two clusters (mine was 66K and the Level II was 94K) but thats not just a bolt in swap. So I had to swap over the needles and bezel to my cluster instead. It wasn't a bad swap but now I have a torn apart spare cluster instead of a complete one I could resell.

I still have the silver Lvl II Cluster, I will have to check out the needles.
I didn’t notice in the first post that it was your truck.
I was going to call it a China Closet but held back, just a special place for special parts.
I like your dash, nice look.
The leather around the steering wheel, talk to me… what manufacturer, does it get sticky in hot weather, is it one of the sew on type ?
I also scored a set of Lvl II Hooks in a trade, don’t think I am going to use them, but not sure yet.
ltr,
thks

That the OEM 04 steering wheel. I think its the steering wheel everyone hates cause its not very round. I'm thinking I'm just going to get a cheap slip on cover for it from autozone and greasy, dirty hands are usually pretty rough on the leather wrapped wheels.
I think you need to rock the Level II hooks.

We'll see what happens, as I might decide to eventually part with some of my spare setup. I don't think I'll part with the floor plate though as they're rare as hell, and something that may wear out/ become brittle and break over time so I want that one as a spare.
I never tried the cluster but everyone says the mileage is stored in the cluster and supposedly our trucks wont even start with the incorrect cluster in place. I really should of tried it to verify if thats true or not but I'm to lazy to take it back out to try it. I may try it someday when I have the cluster out for other stuff. I know on big trucks the mileage is recorded in the PCM and on the cluster. I went to an auction and they handed out sheets with the cluster mileage and PCM mileage and in very few cases it was the same. It was funny as you'd see one with a cluster of 500,789 miles then the ECM would say 500,153 miles. Definitely a WTF moment.

Well actually I was calling around looking for a Level II speed sensor which is a story all in its own. The guy at the yard said he just got in a complete Twin stick truck but wouldn't sell that sensor. He said he couldn't remove a sensor from a good working transmission. As I was ending the conversation with him I asked what they'd want for the complete Twin stick setup and the price was to good to pass up. I figured I might just take the best parts from both my setups and install them in my truck. Then sell the rest of this stuff on down the road, well everything except the floor plate.
