BMW Z3 Top Install

Worked on my landlords 97 Z3 today. This car had the original convertible top on it. After 13 years, it was way past due for a replacement. So today was that day. Started around 8 this morning, and finished up around 1:30. About 45 minutes of that was just :bs: with the neighbor and the landlord. Anyways, here are the pics of it before.

Looks darn good! I had to replace the zippered-in plastic window on one of those once and it was a ***** to get in right. I know it shouldn't be hard but it just kept separating. D'oh!

i did that with theirs about a year ago. then all the stitching came out, so we stitched it backed together a couple times to buy them some time.
