Not purchased just yet, called the dealership this morning...it's on the northside of Atlanta. Gave them my info blah blah, they call back and we worked a price out and I agreed to it, BUT I couldnt make it up there until Friday or Saturday.

The dealership is driving it down to me right now, talk about going the distance for a sale..lol never thought they would do that. The salesman is bringing the paperwork and all.

ask if the plugs have ever been changed and if the truck has ever had any injector failure, 05's are notorious for leaky injectors and locking the motor up

 

Yeah theres a recall on the injectors I think. If you can get me the VIN I can look up the OASIS service report for you

 

yea there is, i know guys who had edge tuners and injectors failed and the dealer made them pay the bill, what a crock. i wouldn't buy an 05 personally, but if the price is right, also make sure to upgrade the IWE solenoid to the 06+ part, if you buy it anyways.

Sorry it took longer, sat around BS'ing with the salesman. Truck already has a leveling kit on it and it has 285 Toyo AT's.

yea they stick open and pour gas down the engine and locks the motor up, i was just reading a guy burned out his cat due to it and the dealer won't pick up the tab, lol. just not something i would wanna deal with, there is a TSB on it, just not something i wanna worry about, kicker is they won't fix them unless it happens.

nice truck, some black headlights/fogs would look damn good on there. what did you pay? 13grand or so?
