Bought a F150
yea they stick open and pour gas down the engine and locks the motor up, i was just reading a guy burned out his cat due to it and the dealer won't pick up the tab, lol. just not something i would wanna deal with, there is a TSB on it, just not something i wanna worry about, kicker is they won't fix them unless it happens.

Btw great looking truck chris. I'd swap leveling kits though. It will ride much better.
i know a few guys that got stranded already, it just happens whenever, kinda sucks they didn't recall it. one minute it ran fine and next it was sputtering and dying and done for...it happened to a buddys truck 2 injectors went bad. hit and a miss with it, i have heard some early 06's have the issue too, however they only have the TSB for 2005's
TSB #07M08 it was just a service bulletin. if i remember right, only people that bought the truck new got letters, but i could be wrong on that. ford will pay for anything that happens to the motor, but that's it.
Thanks guys! I plan on getting black headlights, and an FX2 grill or if there is a company that makes one like it. I probably wont lift it, get some different tires and thats about it.
I'm not worried about the injectors...if they go I'll just fix it...nothing I can do so I'm not gonna worry about it. Plus, Ford will cover them and anything related to the failure according to the letter.

black headlights came in the harley and limited f150's, they also came in the fx4 trucks with luxury packages in 07/08

Thanks again, I think the platinum would match the flares and of coarse the grille...I know, thats pretty damn ****...lol

Oh and I wouldn't go buy Hella black headlights, they are infamous for leaks. I have a new set sitting in a box next to me right now actually, lol. I think I would paint the stockers before buying the Hella lights.

they call them platinum, but they are dark grey inside, i never understood it
