Bought a new toy....

A '66 Mustang. Its only got a 200 straight six with a C-4 tranny. but its my first restoration project so that's ok.

Nice I have a 68 289 2v Auto and i sold a 65 289 2v auto. Good luck on the resto.

Yes, they made a 200 I6.

way to copy me!! we both have stepsides and 66 stangs!

mines a 3speed manual though lol....and i havent had the money to work on it though....damn ranger lol

enjoy though. itts great how much of an aftermarket there is for us

Actually they also made a 170 I6 as well as a 200 I6 in the older mustangs.
Probably gonna keep the I6 til she blows. It seems to be a good motor. I haven't started it yet. The gas lines from the tank to the carb are rusted through and the trunk needs a few patch panels before it will hold the weight of full tank. I don't have a battery either. I want to get it in great shape mechanically then start on the body with the missing trim and new inner fenders and such. All the outer panels are solid.

Nice! Ive got a 66, 289 with a c4 trans. im tward the end of my restoration so if you need any help i can try my best to give you the info you need.

they got plenty of ideas on hoow to spend money on ur six lol, and how to get a lil more power out of it.

Good luck with it. I had a '78 Pinto, which I really miss, but I sold it because it would cost thousands and thousands to fix it.
