Bright Island Blue?

I need some help here, I don't want to drive 3.5hrs to pick up this topper (the guy wants 250, which I think is a steal), and have it be the wrong color. It looks to ME like BIB, but I just want some more opinions, the guy said he didn't know.

could be but there are a lot of colors just a shade or two off. You really won't know til you get there. I had a topper on my 01 that was a shade lighter and most people didn't notice til I said anything. This was back when it was only on in the winter. Also I wouldn't pay more than a hundo for that. Offer him cash and if he was smart he'll take it. used toppers aren't worth diddly. Me and my Dad have had to give about 5 or 6 $1000+ toppers away because no one even came to look at them. and after sitting on them for a year or more we were glad to get rid of them.

Yea, I mean, I'm having a hard time finding the right color topper. It's goign to be for camping so it will be on year round. I don't want it to be any different color.

they do change colors from generation to generation. imo it won't match like you want it. as to whether it will look good, thats completely up to you. judging by your avatar, it'd look kinda funky, and noticeable from a pretty good distance.

Yea, I'm not going to get that one, thanks for the help guys! On to the next!!!

I am thinking just soft tonneau. I was origionally going to use it for camping and having a nice DRY storage space...but it's becoming a PITA, and in the FL heat I don't know how much camping I'l be able to take back there

Thanks gang!

Get a cap and get it painted. It cost me $250 to get mine painted at a Ford dealership. Not a bad price imo. And if you leave the windows open while camping back there it's not bad at all.

my dad has a ROLL'N LOCK on his silverado. look into those. a little pricey, but VERY versatile IMO. you get the "LID" and you can roll it up into the front of the bed and have an open space. and its spring loaded, so you twist the lock, and it rolls up.

Yea, just that this camper is 250 (listed for 300) already...it's an off brand, and I'm not goign to drop another 250 to get it painted...

If it was 250 and the right color, I'd be all over it!!!

I bought mine used for $350 and got it painted for $250, so I have $600 in this cap that would cost around $1200 new and it is well worth the money imo, but I understand not wanting to drop the green.
