A buddy of mine needed to borrow the Ranger to haul a load of firewood so we switched vehicles for a day. I gotta say, driving a little car makes me want a little commuter car. Anybody else ever think this? Almost anything feels like a race car compared to the ranger, especially if its a 5spd. This is his Subaru (aka the Scoob), a fairly basic 2010 Subaru Impreza:

That's how I feel when I get in my buddies Mazda6 V6 5spd. That thing hauls a**, it's a midsize though so it's not really a little car. When I get in my moms commuter Suzuki I feel like I am going to get quashed by anything bigger than an S10. It's terrifying to drive lol.

I feel the same when I drive a buddy's civic si. I want a small commuter car.

A buddy at work just recently purchased a 2001 Miata, supercharged, CLEAN, and fast. I want.

 

If i was gonna have a car id be a 2dr 09+ volkswagon jetta gti...Turbo 2.0 lol hells yeah

But seriously, yes...i've been trying to find a Mazdaspeed 3 or WRX to commute.

 

Mazdaspeed 3's are awesome. Never drivin a scoob though.

 

i like cars but im 6'3'' so my ranger is the perfect size for me:)

I had the same car but someone hit me head on at 30 and totaled it. Great little car tho. I can't beleive my father bought my sister one. I was shocked on how unsafe it was. No air bags nothing. Motor was blown tranny split. I feel much safer in my ranger. If I was offered a WRX I would ditch the truck in a heart beat. I love the truck but I have a sweet spot for subies

 

If i didn't need my ranger for my dirt bike id do the same. plus id miss being higher up off the ground.

 

I have an 03 cavalier for a daily driver. it is nice having the best of both worlds, but when I don't get to drive my truck for a few weeks on end it really sucks.
