awesome, That is exactly how I wanted mine to stick out but couldn't tuck the jeep bumper in enough without totally redoing it.

i've been torn between a nice plate bumper that tucks up along the body, and a tube bumper.. this has inspired me to try my luck making a plate bumper. (or buy one)


i wouldn't need it painted, some rattle can would be fine with me..

a 8' by 18" sheet of 1/8 (or 3/16) will work. i paid 65 bucks for the plate. that is enough to do a majority of the bumper. (the face and some of the mounts)
