i've been torn between a nice plate bumper that tucks up along the body, and a tube bumper.. this has inspired me to try my luck making a plate bumper. (or buy one)


i wouldn't need it painted, some rattle can would be fine with me..

 

i think im guna make a wood one and pimp it for the winter till i can buy the plate. how big of plate did you buy

 

a 8' by 18" sheet of 1/8 (or 3/16) will work. i paid 65 bucks for the plate. that is enough to do a majority of the bumper. (the face and some of the mounts)
