Icon14 Busy Weekend! 56k sorry

Did an oil change and tune up this weekend...Replaced plugs, wires, and coil...then washed, clayed, polished, and waxed her up...then painted my grill!! Also de-snorkeled the stock airbox, but didn't take pics of that.

here are some tune up pics...the plugs, wires and coil were all original! the plugs all had at least .080" gap and were burned!

Nice work!! My old plugs were worn about the same. What a difference the new plugs made.

Love the painted grille. Reminds me I need to redo mine.

are there any benefits to that screaming demon coil pack, or is it just a simple replacement

It is a hotter spark, you have to gap the plugs at .060 or .065 to get the full benefit...

I haven't gotten to really romp down on it yet to see if it runs any differently...

I'm due for plugs badly, and wires. Your Ranger looks awesome. I've been thinking of painting my honeycomb grill black or painting it white to match. The sun is starting to take it's toll.

I just went with the suggested motorcraft ones at Oreilly...prolly didn't need plats, but oh well...as for the wires, they seem like quality wires. Wayne doesn't disappoint with the stuff from his store!

I dunno...I know clears would look good, but I also like the contrast the ambers bring into the mix...but I haven't ruled clears out either!

Gotta remember guys, if you have anything other than the standard plugs, it's not going to run right. Just ask Jeweler54... I told him not to run those and he found out why the next day. lol

Anything other than the NGK double 2's I think is what they're called aren't set up for a ranger. Ben had the irridium plugs and said it ran like absolute dog crap, pulled those and put in factory replacement plugs, and it runs like a champ.

Our motors are finiky....
