So i took the ZR2 for its first trail ride earlier, I would took more pics but my batteries died. Hopefully I go back out later today and have more up by tomorrow.

A bit of a hill climb


I was surprised on that hill, In my ranger from a dead stop i had to put it in 4low to get it to the top, but in the ZR2 i made it up in 2 high. I guess havein posi trac makes a bigger difrence then i thought.

 

I had a zr2... theyre absolute junk IMO

it was the best i could do at the time, so it will have to do me till i can get into another ranger. Plus if i stick around i make everybody else look better.

gm really fudged up when they made them trucks... 3 doors but only 1 back seat WTF! an "offroad" package with a rear sway bar WTF! an undersprung rear WTF!

I hate about the same things. And iv never heard a "nice" sounding 4.3. That and it lacks the power of the Sohc 4.0. If i could hav waited any longer i would have looked around more till i found a level 2

 

why were you in such a rush? should never rush the purchaase of a vehicle.

 

yea^ true but its still a truck, better than a pos civic or somthing
so leave it stock, becasue it will retain its value better , save a few g's and buy a ranger/f150 or somthing

 

beard's right, dont rush a used vehical, i did once, wait make that twice, bolth times i was very dissipated later on and ended up loosing money to sell but was happy to see em go

Cause I had totaled out my focus, and dint have a way to get to work. I borrowed my g/fs car for a couple days, but then she had to go back to school. And its better then my parents picks, dad wanted me to get a 90 sumthin taco, and mom wantd me to get an aveo.

but yeah theyre right about the whole rushing to buy a used vehicle... I did that once and it got me that ZR2 sonoma that I had

dont rush for a used vehicle and dont tell them you have a trade in

I'm happy I rushed sorta when I got my truck. Me and my dad went to one place, saw my ranger and bought it. It ended up good but I really wanted to look more.

Oh Chevy ZR2s are not my cup of tea. Only b/c I'm a strict Ford guy and I absolutely hate the looks of Chevys.

zr2's have a wider frame right? i had a blazer with a 4.3 and it worked... i know my 4.0 is nicer
