That is a neat idea.

I saw something similar at the Carlisle ATN's last year. BMW pickup.

It is different. The one at the ATN's was a later 90's or into the 2000's. You could also see the spring buckets in the bed. If your buddy can do something to get rid of the rear spring buckets it would make it that much cooler.... :)

he'll certainly make some of the vw caddy owners envious with that beast at the german car meets... man that thing is sick. makes me wish I had the money to buy another vw/audi or bmw to play with and get back in the stupidly low/wide stance scene again :(
